Clean energy is winning in price, performance and potential. What is still missing is political courage. COP30 convenes with a climate skeptic in the White House and for the first time no high-level US delegation. Prime Minister Carney, formerly the UN's climate finance envoy, isn't here. His office says because of the budget vote. Our attention is being drawn to other threats and crises that can seem more pressing.
