According to British food distributor CG Hackings and Sons, the cost of pistachios has jumped from $7.6 to $10 per pound. Meanwhile, Iran, a major pistachio producer, has reported a 40% increase in pistachio exports to the UAE over the past six months, compared to the previous year.
