You got the setup for not only a mix of rain and snow, but freezing rain. That's the pink showing up here on the map. That is when it looks just like plain, innocent rain, but then it creates a glaze on your sidewalks, your bridges, your overpasses, that kind of thing. Now, there will be some snow. This is Thursday through Saturday, so Christmas Day through the weekend. You've got the ability to see some heavier amounts of snow, certainly in places like the Poconos and the Catskill Mountains, where they've been having a pretty good ski season so far this year. Unfortunately, though, there's your ice accretion potential, especially in Pennsylvania, where we could get up and over a quarter of an inch. That doesn't sound like much, but when you get up into that area, that's damaging ice, tree damage, numerous power outages to be expected. Again, this is beyond the Christmas holiday. This is more like for people traveling Friday, starting in the Great Lakes. And if you're traveling over the weekend, for those of you in the Northeast, it gets really messy with airport delays as well.
