Polls indicate that while about half of Poles would report to defend the nation, only 26% express readiness to actively support the military, and 57% have no intention of getting involved.

The studies also reveal that trust in the army is moderate, with only half of respondents confident in its defensive capabilities. Younger people are the least inclined to fight, and political affiliation plays a role, as supporters of the Law and Justice Party and the Civic Coalition are most likely to participate in defense efforts.

According to an Ibris poll, half of citizens would report to defend the country. Meanwhile, Pollster indicates that 26% of Poles declare readiness to support the military, while 57% have no intention of getting involved. Although this percentage seems small, only about 1 in 4 people are ready to defend the country, 1 in 4 can form a decent army. Another issue is a lack of trust in the army, because only about half of Poles claim that our army would be able to defend the country. If I go to the army, I would like to be sure that I will be well trained and well commanded. If I am not so sure, then, well, my morale drops a bit at the moment. The poll shows that young people are the least inclined to fight for their country. Euronews decided to ask them about it in person. I think I would stay in the country. I like Poland so much, and lately I like it more and more that I think I would stay here. I don't know in what form I would defend it, but I would definitely stay here. I think the form of the war is so unknown that I am not yet able to make a decision. I don't know yet, but I wonder if I still have the courage that my great-grandparents had. If we are to refer to our Warsaw Uprising, then of course, but if it were a political game, then I would have to think about it for a long time.
