Paramount, under its new identity as Skydance Corporation, has announced a significant partnership with Activision Blizzard to produce a live action Call of Duty movie. The Call of Duty franchise, which has been the top-selling video game in the United States for 16 consecutive years and has sold over 500 million copies globally, will be adapted into a feature film developed, produced, and distributed by Paramount.

This move is part of Paramount's broader strategy to invest in major franchises and strengthen its position in the entertainment industry. The announcement had a limited immediate impact on Paramount's stock, which remained slightly down following the news.
