According to newly released internal documents, Oracle is facing nearly $100 million in losses from renting Nvidia's latest Blackwell chips. The report also highlights the company's reliance on a concentrated customer base, with OpenAI accounting for nearly all of its recent $317 billion in cloud deals. The news has also negatively impacted other chip-related stocks. Oracle has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the report.

What we're seeing is actually Oracle shares dropping roughly 5 percent after internal documents revealed the company's AI cloud business is running thinner than expected profit margins. And this is according to the information that just came out right now. They're reporting claims Oracle is losing considerable sums of money on the rental. And so they rent servers and chips and so on the rental of both new and older NVIDIA chips which of course raises questions about profitability return on investment for these expensive chips. Specifically Oracle is losing and this according to the report nearly 100 million dollars on rentals of NVIDIA's newest Blackwell chips and depends heavily on a concentrated customer base which of course guess who. Open AI accounting for virtually all of its 317 billion in recent cloud deals. That is why you're seeing a negative reaction to Oracle stuff. It's also weighing negatively on a lot of the chip names the SMH for example falling about half a percent when the news hit now even down lower 1 percent. We reached out to Oracle haven't heard back in time given that this story just published guys. I will watch that. That's about 20 percent off of those intraday highs of not too long ago.
