The US Federal Trade Commission is suing it and its parent company for alleged illegal resale tactics. In the UK, a proposed law would make it illegal to resell tickets for more than face value. Ontario politicians have floated something similar. It's impossible to enforce because people can exchange tickets outside the jurisdiction. Another solution, connecting the ticket to the buyer's name and checking ID at the venue. Because only the person who buy a ticket can attend the venue. It's the greatest show in sports. Others have their own ideas. The popular Savannah Bananas, a US team that mixes baseball and entertainment is launching a verified secondary ticket marketplace. We've had thousands of fans who have been either scammed or have paid thousands of dollars for tickets. To see a family of four that could get four tickets for under $200, that they're paying thousands of dollars, you know, that hurts. It seems Olivia Deen felt that hurt for fans.
