Neo-Nazi Thomas Sewell was arrested outside of Melbourne Magistrates' Court, hours after confronting Premier Jacinta Allen at a press conference. Victoria Police have yet to confirm what he's charged with.

Thomas Sewell, a self-proclaimed neo-Nazi leader, confronted the Victorian Premier during a public event, drawing attention from media and requiring intervention by Victoria Police security. The incident occurred as the Premier was addressing concerns about far-right extremism and was followed by Sewell making several inflammatory remarks.

The Premier and Treasurer were escorted away by security, with the Premier later issuing a statement asserting she was not intimidated by the encounter and would continue to serve the public. Victoria Police confirmed awareness of the incident.

Followed by slur after slur. You're a coward. The Premier choosing to retreat rather than inflame the situation as the white supremacist continued his tirade. And we're going to take this country back from politicians like you. Separated by media who watched on. I never see anyone shake your hand. I had 500 people come up to me and shake my hand on the weekend and there was 50,000 of us. The Treasurer and the Premier were whisked away by security with one final look over her shoulder before being driven off. Thomas Sewell claims the encounter wasn't planned. We're in the area, coincidentally walking down a court. Seemingly bewildered by the chance meeting himself which he addressed outside the court. One of the journalists asked her about Thomas Sewell and whether we should do this protest stuff and I was just walking through the park as they mentioned my name. He continued his commentary on Australia while the Premier maintained her schedule attending a talk on working from home at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Premier issued a written statement saying she wasn't scared or intimidated by the goons and wore their hatred of her and her government like a badge of honour. I will always be out and about in public fighting for you like I am today. I am not afraid. Victoria Police says it's aware of the incident. Jessica Maggio, 10 News.
