"The NFL Today" host James Brown joins "CBS Mornings" to break down Week 5 in the NFL as the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles both lose, leaving no teams undefeated.

The NFL season saw its last unbeaten teams fall as the New England Patriots secured a surprise victory over the Buffalo Bills. This result, along with the Philadelphia Eagles' loss, means no teams remain undefeated after five weeks of play. 

The weekend featured standout performances, including Stefan Diggs excelling against his former team and Bo Nix leading a strong second half for the Broncos. The Houston Texans' defense and quarterback CJ Stroud were also highlighted for their impressive showing. Dramatic moments, such as a late-game fumble and recovery in the Cardinals-Titans matchup, added to the excitement of the round.

All right. Let's talk a little football this morning. There are no more unbeaten teams in the NFL after New England Patriots pulled off a stunner against the Buffalo Bills after just five weeks. We could tell this season is going to be uncommonly exciting. So let's break down this weekend's games with the host of the NFL today on CBS. What's up James Brown to see you early name. It's good to see you early and late last night. So speaking of late last night, the bills, they get taken out by the Patriots. What did you make of that game? Well, you know what you and Bill Carr were talking about this while the first four or five games of the season. The players are being, you know, to try to find out what they can do. Yeah, you said they also fact find about the coach. I think they just resemble Mike Rabel in terms of how he plays. Yeah, your coach learns who the superstars are and watch this catch by Stefan Diggs who was on fire, by the way, playing his former team. No, he was out there barking at guys getting his team going, but that's why they brought him there, right? That type of leadership. All right. So let's talk about the Super Bowl champs. He goes at home playing the Broncos Bo Nix plays big, especially in the second half. I'm loving Bo Nix a moxie a determination reflective of the coach. Look at these Evan Ingram. Hey, and they're cut. Look, they're coming back against some great teams. Nate. Look out for them. Look out for them period. Yeah, look out for them for sure. What about Jaden Danes? We were just talking during a commercial break. You said that he reminds you of who one of the team owners Magic Johnson. You play basketball when he gets out there. He just finds everybody. The level is raised. Jaden Daniels to put it mildly. He's special. Yeah, Magic Johnson did it with a smile on his face. Absolutely basketball as does he and as does he delivers the ball beautifully beautifully sees the field spectacularly. I mean, just look at the way he keeps his eyes up field, even though he has the big fellas breathing down his neck. Jane Daniels is going to be special for a long time and it'd be so slim. I mean, I can't believe he's out there doing that with the big studs like that. But that's the game. He played. Yeah, he was looking like you back in the day on the basketball. He's at it in the case right now. Tony. Let me tell you that. All right. So let's talk about the Houston, Texas. Oh, Shana Thomas. Did that get moved up in the order because of Shana Thomas? Is that the deal? Yeah. Yeah, no doubt. I know the Texans are playing. Well, when she comes in and starts calling everybody y'all, I tell y'all, come on y'all. Let's have a good show. Y'all. Well, thank you. Y'all right now is CJ Stroud. He's playing. But look that Houston defense front and back. I know it's unsexy to talk about them. The defense really does set the tone. But CJ just looks like he's got some personal calm in his life right now with the way he's playing out there on the field. Love that young man. Yeah. And some people will say well, the Ravens didn't have Lamar. Who cares? Because listen, you beat the team. You're supposed to be absolutely beat them handedly. If they don't have their soup and you guys in the fraternity say you never apologize for what you never apologize for a victory. Absolutely. I've talked about the Cardinals. This was a wild one. There was a couple of late game plays that really shifted the game. Check out the score 21 to 6. So you have this running back right here. Amari DiMarco and he has the touchdown. He's gonna put this game away. Watch what he does right before he scores. The ball comes out. Pay attention. Look, he lets go of the ball before it crosses the plane. Come on. So you can't do that. That gives the Titans a little bit of hope. Yeah, you're thinking. Okay. All right, they're in it. But watch this right here. All right, Cam. We're trying to make something happen.
