Authorities from the FBI and Michigan State Police spent several hours at a residence in Dearborn, Michigan, as part of an undisclosed law enforcement operation. The activity, which took place at the intersection of Middle Point and Morass, drew attention and concern from neighbors, though officials have not confirmed whether any evidence was seized or if the operation was linked to recent national security developments.

Dearborn police communicated via social media that there is no threat to the public and did not elaborate on the nature of the FBI's presence. Neighbors expressed uncertainty about the situation and the residents of the home in question. Authorities have stated that updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Yeah, we're out at the scene here in Dearborn, right at Middle Point and Morass, where members of the FBI agents from the FBI as well as members from the Michigan State Police troopers from the Michigan State Police. They have been out here for several hours this morning. We don't know, as you mentioned, whether this is directly connected to director Patel Cash, our director of investigation. We did get a little bit of an update on director Patel Cash or Cash Patel's message or social media post earlier this morning. We are still working to figure that out. But I can tell you investigators have been out here for several hours. I will step out of the way so we can give you a look at the scene out here this morning. We have seen those agents go in and out of this home right here at Morass and Middle Point. We've seen those agents, though, carry anything out of the home. So if they have been able to seize anything from the home, whether there is any evidence that was taken from the home, that is unclear. Obviously, seeing police out here, seeing this type of police presence, very alarming to the people who live in this neighborhood. Take a listen to a gentleman we spoke with just a short time ago. I'm just hoping, you know, we don't have any more big headlines in Dearborn. I was just hoping, you know, nothing related to the mayor. We have enough problems in the city and people coming here and enough attention. And I'm just hoping there's no more national headlines. So again, Dearborn police are saying on their social media, on their Facebook page, on social media, they are saying that the FBI was in the area conducting some sort of law enforcement activity. They are not going into exactly why they are here. They will not elaborate beyond that. They did want to point out, though, that the community is not at any risk right now, that there's no threat to the public. And obviously, after seeing the FBI director's post earlier this morning, you know, things could have been very different if this terror plot was not stopped when it was. Again, we're still trying to figure out whether this house behind me is connected to it. I've been talking to neighbors. No one seems to know exactly who lived in that home. They don't know a lot about the people there. So we're going to continue to dig out here this morning, and we will bring you new updates as we do get them. For now, I'll send it right back to you guys.
