I think I'll learn a lot from this match. The emotion in complete contrast to Taylor Preston. She gets it. The 20-year-old Australian delivers a nerveless performance. The West Aussie wildcard breaking through for her first ever Grand Slam win, fighting out three sets with China's Xue Zhang. I started getting a little bit nervous but I think I just try to not think about it and just think about playing the point. I don't know, maybe I did it okay. Defending women's champ Madison Keyes prides herself on winning ugly and had to do just that. Ukrainian Oleksandra Olenikova had the artwork and the game to match, pushing the world number nine to a tie-break in the first before the American found her groove. Last night a devastated Alexey Poprin was a shell of himself after falling in a five-set epic. When it keeps happening, keeps on happening, maybe I just have to look at myself and see and really look deep inside because it can't keep going on like this. While Novak Djokovic banked his 100th win at Melbourne Park, but it remains to be seen if he still has what it takes to towel up the likes of El Coraz and Sinna. It felt good tonight.
