James is among several critics of the president to face federal charges recently, including John Bolton and James Comey, all of whom deny any wrongdoing. Both James and Comey contend that the prosecutor in their cases was unlawfully appointed and argue they are being subjected to selective and vindictive prosecution.

James is the third of three critics of the president to be charged by the feds this month, along with former National Security Adviser John Bolton and former FBI Director James Comey, all deny wrongdoing. Letitia James and James Comey are both arguing the prosecutor in their case was unlawfully appointed and both will argue they are victims of vindictive, selective prosecution.
