A group of alleged survivors will hold a closed-door roundtable with members of the House Oversight Committee this week. So let's bring in CBS News Justice Correspondent Scott McFarlane. Scott, thank you for joining us today. You have been speaking to one of those victims, so what can you tell us about the message that we'll be hearing from them today on Capitol Hill this week? You're going to hear a series of different concerns from this group of survivors, ranging from whether the Epstein files, if they exist in the way they allegedly do, should be more fulsomely released, to whether Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's co-conspirator, has been shown too much leniency and given too much of a platform in recent weeks, including her transfer to a lower-security federal prison camp after she interviewed with the Deputy Attorney General about the case, and whether Congress should be getting involved with leveraging the Trump administration to release more of what it has on Jeffrey Epstein. A whole different series of concerns. You're going to hear a range of them when they speak publicly, too, because not only are they meeting with members of the House Oversight Committee today, they have a news conference planned for tomorrow here in Washington. Okay, Scott, I want to switch to a different topic here and ask you about Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook and her push to keep her position on the board. We know a judge heard arguments from both sides on Friday, so what is the latest to come out of that? It was a lengthy argument and it was a landmark argument Friday. We have not seen this before, a Federal Reserve Board member suing to keep her job in what is to be an independent board. We expect more court filings in that matter as early as this afternoon here in Washington. Lisa Cook says her firing is unlawful, that she was not given a chance to defend herself against any accusations of misconduct. What's more, she says it's a violation of her Fifth Amendment rights. The Trump administration is trying to argue that there's cause to fire Lisa Cook, alleging there was some paperwork submitted to banks in which she declared two different properties to be her primary residence. Cook has not yet been heard on those accusations in court, but you can see the back and forth here accelerating as Cook wants to stay on the job. And every indication we had over the long weekend was she still has some access to that position or to her office or to her title because she did not ask on Friday for an immediate temporary restraining order against the administration. Okay, and Scott, speaking of people refusing to leave their jobs, let's talk about CDC Director Suzanne Moneriz. Where do things stand right now in her case? It's possible there's some type of legal challenge she issues through her DC-based group of attorneys. That's according to sources speaking with CBS News. Some of that could come after Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testifies publicly Thursday in Congress. They could be waiting to see what happens in that testimony. Moneriz had at first challenged her departure from the agency, saying she hadn't been fired by the president, which is required in this case. Then the White House said the president went ahead and fired Moneriz. So some of this may be political pushback or messaging pushback or legal pushback, but it's clear to the sources speaking with CBS News that Susan Moneriz is not done fighting this termination.
