A succession of storms is affecting the Pacific Northwest and northern California, with only brief breaks between weather systems. Rainfall totals are accumulating in cities like Seattle and Spokane, and power outages have been reported across California, though the number of affected customers has decreased.

Flash flooding is becoming a concern due to repeated rainfall, and snow levels are dropping to mountain passes, posing hazards for drivers. Another storm system is expected to bring more heavy rain and snow, particularly to Seattle and northern California, with reports of flash flooding already received.

it's storm after storm. We had a little bit of a break in between this current storm in the last storm, but it's not as much for the next one. Let's talk about right now, though, still power outages throughout California. A lot of these were into northern California. Now it's closer to run areas the Sierra. We are moving in the right direction that we were above 22,000 without power the last hour. And I showed you this. We're down to more than 17,000 without power in California is one of those states. Sometimes they just have power outages that pop up as well. So some of this weather related some of this could be unrelated. Let's talk about rainfall totals, though. They've been taking up all evening in Seattle. We're at half an inch now. Overall, quarter of an inch of rainfall in Spokane. But while these rainfall totals aren't that impressive, just think about we're adding on to what you've already seen from the last storm and the one before that. As we go throughout the week, flash flooding is going to start to become more of a concern just because of rain after rain after rain. Taking a look at radar over the last hour, we've really seen the lightning disappearing some lightning north of Boise up into the mountains here. So keep that in mind lightning safety. But we haven't seen a severe thunderstorm warning since that first one in the four o'clock hour eastern time. It was the noon to one o'clock hour pacific time into far northern Oregon. We're seeing this slowly but surely move inland tomorrow. Our next system moves in. That's why I said you don't get much of a break this time. Now some differences. This one focused a little farther to the north. You'll notice northern California is still included, but not as much of the state seeing rainfall. And also you see a lot more blue on the map. Colder air allowing for more snowfall. Snow levels have been gradually dropping throughout the week. Now we're gonna get to pass level. So keep that mind for driving through any mountain passes, especially friday. Here's the break a little bit in between the storm. Still don't get rid of the rainfall. Next one moves in by about eight a.m. Into places like Seattle, continuing on through time. Here's still some heavy rainfall in northern California, so it doesn't stretch as far to the north, but you still get hit with some heavy downpours. Keep an eye out for any flash flooding. We did have some reports today.
