The United Nations' Famine Review Committee has confirmed that famine is present in Gaza, with entire regions at risk of collapse. Despite Israel's pledges to increase aid, humanitarian access remains severely restricted, and the situation continues to deteriorate for families facing acute malnutrition and hunger.

But her condition did not improve. She used to weigh 35 kilos, but now she's down to 20. The UN's Famine Review Committee confirms famine is already consuming Gaza. Entire governorates are only weeks away from collapse. Israel has pledged to allow a surge of aid into Gaza, but those promises remain unmet. Instead, aid is obstructed, and soup kitchens that once fed thousands are shutting down. Fifteen free soup kitchens that we have for Heroic Hearts organization, today we have only three. Talking about 6,000 people actually do not have food, and they call for reopening these free soup kitchens. Every day, thousands head to the GHF, sites locally known as death traps, in a desperate search for food. Others swarm atrops the moment they appear, scenes of chaos triggered by sheer hunger. If a starvation were not spreading like wildfire, such scenes could have been prevented. The reporters are clear, without ceasefire and unrestricted humanitarian access, preventable deaths will soar. For Gaza's families, famine is no longer the fear of tomorrow, it's the tragedy of today.
