These young survivors of the Hamas terror attack on the Nova festival in Israel are working through their trauma with specialists. Fifty of them arrive here at the secret forest resort in Paphos Cyprus every week. We can talk about it in a quieter place because Israel is still under attack and in Israel everything takes you back. Here you really feel the protective shell. The retreat's Israeli owner has arranged a free program for them with the support of the Israel Aid NGO. Till now we bought 200 and we continue till the end and we bring all of them here and we give them everything with love. 1,200 survivors and relatives are on a list waiting to come here for a few days respite. The community center of the large Jewish population on the island helped dozens of families find places to stay after they fled from Israel following the attacks. Only a 40-minute flight from Tel Aviv many Israelis have been moving to the safety of Larnaca for the past decade or so. We feel this unwavering support both from the local authorities and the government of Cyprus and especially from our friends the Cypriot people that we know here in Cyprus. We see across the board full support. While it might not seem like much the quiet space that Cyprus is providing these terror attack survivors is an important step in helping them piece back their lives. But respite for Gaza's traumatized civilians is not yet in sight as Israel's war on Hamas continues.
