Meanwhile, Hamas claims the destruction in Gaza has made locating bodies difficult and states it has released all living hostages and remains it can. U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated demands for Hamas to disarm as part of ongoing peace efforts.

Israel has begun returning the remains of Palestinians killed in the fighting to health officials in Gaza, but it's applying pressure on Hamas by refusing so far to open the Rafa crossing between Egypt and Gaza to humanitarian aid. Assistance is being allowed in through other corridors, but aid groups say more is needed. We're all advocating for opening the crossings, facilitating our access inside Gaza, making sure there is law and order so people can actually also move freely inside the Gaza Strip. Along with the squeeze on aid, U.S. President Donald Trump is once again warning Hamas to disarm as part of the peace agreement. We want the weapons to be given up, sacrificed, and they've agreed to do it. Now they have to do it. If they don't do it, we'll do it. Trump went on CNN and suggested he'd allow Israel to resume its campaign in Gaza if Hamas doesn't uphold its end of the deal. Israel accuses Hamas of doing just that by not returning all the hostages. Hamas tonight released the remains of two more Israelis. The group issued a statement saying it's released all the living hostages and all the bodies that it can. Tom Perry, CBC News, Cairo.

Israel is still limiting the number of aid trucks allowed to enter Gaza nearly a week after a ceasefire deal was agreed. It’s told the United Nations will only allow 300 per day - that's half the minimum number agreed under the truce.
