Officers killed alleged attacker Sajid Akram at the scene of the shooting. Authorities have charged his son, Naveed Akram, with 59 offences, including 15 counts of murder. The anti-Semitic attack at the start of the eight-day Hanukkah celebration was Australia's worst mass shooting since 1996.
