The upcoming race is anticipated to be one of the most closely watched in the country, with Republicans working to defend their Senate majority. Of the 33 Senate seats up for election, 20 are currently held by Republicans. Notably, Maine is the only state with a GOP-held Senate seat that was not won by former President Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
