We are coming here because we wanted to reach and cover the stories of Abu Marahil camp that was completely affected by the rainstorm. Today is the second day of the rainstorm and we have been here meeting the municipality of Gaza. This truck is one of the only or the few trucks that are still available in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli forces completely destroyed most of the equipment the municipality has. Most of the families are saying that sewage water has been coming into their tents. Now this is an example of how families are setting up their tents. This is their destroyed house and this is where they have been setting up the tents. Now I'm standing here and I feel like there's no way to even walk in this swimming pool or mud pool and it's obviously a way families here have been struggling. So this is one of the examples of how people are struggling to even walk in those mud puddles and these are not only water it's also sewage with garbage and it's definitely a daily struggle of every time Palestinians or people here want to walk from a place to another. As you see behind me every single aspect of life has been completely destroyed. All of the buildings are leveled.
