And then I stepped back and gave the space to Suleiman because he really wanted to go. She was on board the Polar Prince, the ship that towed the Titan out to sea. The sentence, we lost comm, I think that would be a sentence I would never want to hear in my life again. Lost comms, all communication. That's the way her horrific ordeal began last Sunday. I think I lost hope when we passed the 96 hours mark. 96 hours, the estimated time before oxygen would run out. But the U.S. Coast Guard says the sub suffered a catastrophic implosion. It has now convened a Marine Board of Investigation into the Titan tragedy. This case has been extremely complex and an unforgiving and difficult to access region of the ocean. Its primary goal is to determine the cause. The NBI, however, is also responsible for accountability aspects of the incident. And it can make recommendations to the proper authorities to pursue civil or criminal sanctions as necessary. Canada's Transportation Safety Board has also launched an investigation, as has the RCMP. This remotely operated vehicle has been to the ocean floor four times trying to recover the wreck, a priority, says the Coast Guard. It won't say whether recovering the bodies will be possible.
