A 70-year-old man named Greg was attacked by two dogs while on a morning walk in Hervey Bay, Queensland. The incident, captured on CCTV, resulted in multiple bite marks and puncture wounds to Greg's arms and legs. A passerby intervened and was also pursued by the dogs but was not injured. 

The dogs' owners, reportedly squatters at a Eurangan property, have been the subject of previous police action. The Fraser Coast Regional Council has seized the dogs, but no decision has been made regarding euthanasia. The investigation into the attacks is expected to take up to three weeks.

This is the aftermath. Multiple bite marks and puncture wounds to Greg's arms and legs. A passerby driving through the area pulls over and rushes to help. Once the dogs retreat, he walks Greg back to safety before returning to his car, but moments later he's chased down by the pair of canines himself. He was not injured. Greg's daughter later returned to the area to take photos of the dogs, only to be followed by them herself. And after posting on social media about her father's ordeal, she says she received a message from the dog's owner claiming the canines wouldn't normally behave aggressively or be chained up at all. The dog's owners are allegedly squatters at a Eurangan home. Police say they've attempted to move on the occupants and their dogs on multiple occasions and the property was cleared this morning with police assistance. Fraser Coast Regional Council has confirmed to 10 News that the two dogs have been seized, but no decision has yet been made regarding euthanasia. Officials say the investigation into the attacks could take up to three weeks. Hannah Watt, 10 News.
