Nobody really knew where to go. Um and then finally, like the place has said, Go to the back. Go back. And so then, of course, everybody else started saying gold back. So we all start running to the back. Um and that's when we went down the slide. My gosh, and you can see your face there, too. Well, the FAA says that it is investigating the incident. It's been a long time coming. How long has it been since the last time you heard about something like this at Denver International Airport tonight, Kennedy? You know, we last. I don't know. Six months or so. We hear aviation issue and all of our ears perk up because there have been just kind of these smaller incidents. Do we have any idea what sparked this particular fire? What happened here? Yeah. Hi, Simone and Amy. Well, this all happened when the flight was about to take off Saturday. Now the FAA says it was an issue with the plane's landing gear, and that's when it started shaking. She heard a loud boom, and then everyone had to evacuate the airplane some off of slides, emergency slides and people were rushing. Some tripped and fell as they carried their luggage, some Children, but thankfully out of all this, no one was seriously hurt. Yeah and people and people might ask, you know, how can we prevent this from happening again? Do we know if there is anything being done specifically to prevent something like this? Yeah. So I reached out to the FAA and they said, you know, they're trying to get a specific statement on that and update on what they're doing to ensure that there's less mishaps like these. They did not respond, but we know the FAA always puts out that message there that it is very safe to fly within the U. S. One of the safest forms of traveling actually is flying within the U. S. And then just talking to passengers in the airport. You know, it's a mix bag. Some people travel more less than others, maybe a little uneasy if they don't travel as often, but the message is that it's safe to fly within the U. S. It's safe to travel and still feel safe to fly. Yeah, I do have to point out. So as we're watching the video of these folks, and then also the interview with the young woman, it feels very chaotic and not ever having been in that position. You hate to judge. But did anybody kind of talk about? I mean, you see people some people with bags like they grabbed their luggage. They grabbed their stuff, right? That was the first thing I noticed was people trying to get out of their seats and trying to get out of their seats. And how are they supposed to do that? Right? My first question. Exactly Did you chat with anybody? Or do we know like what? How chaotic was it? Did they follow the instructions of the flight crew? Yeah, well, that passenger described at first, everyone was told to sit in their seats because some people stood up. They were screaming. Oh, there's a fire. There's smoke. And then the flight crew told them to one by one line up and evacuate. But at first, everyone was told to sit in their seats. And then the flight crew told us this past Friday. There was another mishap on a plane that was heading from Southern California to Las Vegas. This time it was in mid air, so the plane actually had to nose dive to avoid a mid air collision. Passengers were sent flying up into the cabin. And thankfully, though, same as this situation. No one was seriously hurt. All right. Well, I guess that's that's a good good news there. Absolutely All right, Kennedy.
