A pilot on a Delta Airlines flight into San Francisco was arrested over the weekend and is being held in Contra Costa County Jail on $5 million bail.

A Delta Air Lines copilot was taken into custody at San Francisco International Airport by federal agents and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office. The arrest, which occurred after the plane landed and passengers were asked to remain seated, was related to charges involving child sexual abuse materials.

Authorities identified the suspect as 34-year-old Rooster Mbagwagar of Florida, who has been booked into the Martinez County Jail. Mbagwagar is being held on $500,000 bail. Delta Air Lines has referred all inquiries to law enforcement.

Your flight land safely pulls up to the gate as expected, and then all of a sudden federal agents storm on board and drag your pilot out in handcuffs. That's exactly what happened. It's a shocking story, but it's not the first time this has happened. A source telling Fox News that the copilot on the aircraft was arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse materials. A passenger on the flight reported around 10 federal agents asked passengers to remain seated as they moved through the plane and headed to the cockpit. Passengers tell Fox News via phone that the arrest was shocking to see everybody that I saw was armed, but I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to do. Some of the people had a uniform that said H s I. And some of the people didn't. The Department of Homeland Security says agents were on board assisting the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office with the arrest. Travelers at SFO Monday morning, say seeing their pilot get arrested after landing the plane would be unnerving. I think I would panic. Um that would be really, really scary. I don't know. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. I don't know why they were there or what they were doing. We have reached out to Delta. The airline referred all questions to law enforcement at SFO.
