In Colorado, Prop M-M and Prop L-L both passed, securing more funding for school meals. And in Maine, the state voted down Question 1 on voter ID and approved Question 2 on a firearm red flag. Let's bring in CBS News correspondent Ian Lee. Ian, thanks so much for being with us. Tell us more about the results in Maine. What are we hearing from voters? Well, Elizabeth, if you were hoping for a bit of drama last night, some close calls in these referendums, you'd be thoroughly disappointed because Maine voters gave a resounding answer when it came to both propositions. The first one would restrict voting. It required people to have ID to vote, also restricting absentee ballots. That was voted down by voters. This is more of what they had to say. Question 1, I'm definitely voting no because absentee ballot is such an important issue, especially for a lot of older people. My mom's in her late 70s, and she often votes absentee because she can't necessarily always make it to the voting polls. There are people that need the opportunity to do that, to be able to vote with an absentee ballot that can't get here because of either their work schedules or because they maybe are out of state. Elizabeth, the other measure on the ballot was red flag laws. This would take away guns from people who are deemed as dangerous, either to themselves or others. That did pass by about two-thirds of voters. No tight race or no tight voting yesterday in Maine. Let's go to Colorado now, Ian. Let's talk about the ballot measures there. What do they mean for students and taxpayers? This essentially boils down to giving free school lunches and breakfasts to all students across Colorado. One of the measures talked about increasing taxes to make sure that there was enough money for this program. Voters passed that with a resounding yes by more than or around two-thirds. And then you also had this other about $12 million that was left over from this program. Voters were asked if they wanted it as a tax rebate or to put that money back into that school lunch and school breakfast program. Voters said yes to that as well. They said that they want the students across Colorado to have those breakfasts and lunches. Elizabeth? Ian Lee, thank you so much. Great to see you.
