Australian Olympians are due to arrive in Sydney airport overnight to a private celebration, with the Prime Minister in attendance. A public celebration will take place in September.

Australian Olympians are en route to Sydney, expected to arrive within hours. Despite being mid-flight, their performances continue to attract global attention. American comedian Jimmy Fallon recently featured an imitation of Olympian Raygun during his TV show monologue, highlighting Raygun’s impact.

Upon arrival in Sydney, the Olympians will be greeted with a celebration. Prime Minister and other dignitaries will attend, and Jessica Mauboy is set to deliver a special performance. This event will be private, restricted to Olympians and their families. 

For the general public, a larger celebration is scheduled for next month in Sydney. Fans looking forward to meeting their sporting heroes will need to wait until then for a chance to participate in the festivities.

Olympians are in the air and they'll be arriving here in Sydney in just a few hours but even whilst they're airborne one particular Olympic performance continues to make waves all around the globe. Jimmy Fallon is the latest who I won't say make fun because imitation is meant to be the best form of flattery but the comedian certainly did take some inspiration from Ray Gunn during the monologue of his TV show. Now when the Olympians do arrive here in Sydney they'll have a much warmer welcome. There is a celebration planned very early tomorrow morning that's when the Olympians will reunite with their family. There will also be dignitaries here including the Prime Minister and a special performance by Jessica Mowboy. It is a private event though for the general public hoping to meet an Olympian or celebrate with one of their sporting heroes maybe even have a dance with Ray Gunn. They're going to have to wait a little while longer. A public celebration isn't planned until next month here in Sydney that's when the wider public will be able to enjoy in those festivities but certainly well I'm sure we all can't wait to do just that.

The talk comes a day after President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed Ukraine, Iran and other issues in a call the Kremlin described as "frank and constructive."
