The world famous Danish-Norwegian europop group AQUA have agreed to have their music and origins transformed into a full-scale stage musical. From 'I'm a Barbie Girl' and 'Doctor Jones', to marriage between band members, the production promises more than just the story behind the songs.

A musical centered on the Danish pop group Aqua, known for their 1990s hit 'Barbie Girl,' is scheduled to premiere in 2028. The production will feature the band's music and story, emphasizing themes of love, perseverance, and the unique relationship between the band members and their loyal fanbase.

Produced by AHA Creations, the show aims to capture the vibrant and playful spirit of Aqua and Danish pop music. Plans are in place for the musical to tour internationally, with performances expected in major theatre cities such as New York, London, and Toronto.
