Kaufman County police are searching for Joshua Taylor, a 39-year-old man wanted for aggravated assault after he allegedly beat a 63-year-old man and bit off part of his ear.

Kaufman County Sheriff's Department is searching for Joshua Taylor, a 39-year-old man accused of violently assaulting a 63-year-old male and biting off a large portion of his left earlobe. The incident occurred when Taylor allegedly entered the victim's residence without permission and attacked him, resulting in serious injury.

Taylor, who has a history of encounters with law enforcement and is described as having numerous tattoos, is also wanted in connection with a previous assault on the same victim. Authorities have issued warrants for his arrest and are appealing to the public for information that could lead to his location.

Yeah, that victim beaten and bitten, losing part of an ear, police say by a man almost half his age and no stranger to law enforcement. Investigator, who are you looking for? We're looking for a 39-year-old male by the name of Joshua Taylor. Tell me about Joshua Taylor. What happened? So this last Sunday, about 5 o'clock in the morning, 5, 5.20 in the morning, this individual entered somebody else's house without their permission, then proceeded to violently assault a 63-year-old male. I said, look at what we're here for. That's ag assault. That's a second-degree felony. In the process of the assault, he bit his left earlobe, biting off a large portion of his earlobe. The man he was assaulting? Yes, sir. Bit off part of his ear? Yes, sir. Back around June of this year, Joshua Taylor assaulted my same victim, the 63-year-old male, causing him to have bodily injury there. We do have a warrant for that. What do you need? I need the public to tell me where we can find this individual, if they know where he's at. Now, you've dealt with him, Coffman County Sheriff's Department has dealt with him over the years. Yes, sir, we have. Now, is there anything about him, does he have any kind of identifying marks? So he is covered in tattoos. He has tattoos all along one of his arms, all around his torso. The main tattoo that sticks out in my mind is one that he has on the front of his torso that is a derogatory mark towards the police. You think he's still here in the county? Absolutely.
