A 23-year-old woman has been charged with more than 100 counts of fraud after allegedly stealing from elderly residents at a facility in Moreton Bay.

A 23-year-old woman from Margate has been charged with more than 100 counts of fraud, accused of stealing from four elderly residents at an aged care facility in Rothwell, City of Moreton Bay. Police allege she used the residents' personal and banking information to make unauthorised purchases between October 2024 and June 2025.

The woman is also facing charges related to entering a dwelling with intent and obtaining identification information. The arrest comes after an investigation prompted by reports of suspicious banking activity from the victims and their families. She is expected to appear at Redcliffe Court.
