The tariffs include a 100 percent rate on imported pharmaceuticals, 50 percent on kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, 30 percent on upholstered furniture, and 25 percent on heavy-duty trucks. 

Drug companies currently building or expanding manufacturing facilities in the U.S. will be exempt from the pharmaceutical tariffs. The measures are expected to impact prices for consumers, particularly for medications and home improvement goods, and could have broader effects on the economy. The announcement also included details about a new executive order regarding the ownership and operation of TikTok's U.S. business.
