Sean "Diddy" Combs appeared in a New York court as his attorneys argued to have his guilty verdict on prostitution-related charges thrown out. Combs was convicted of two counts of transportation for the purpose of prostitution under the Mann Act, but acquitted of more serious charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

His legal team contends that the Mann Act was used in an unprecedented way, claiming the case involved consenting adults and that the law has not previously been applied in this manner. They also argue for a new trial, citing potential prejudice from evidence related to charges on which Combs was acquitted. The judge is considering post-trial motions, with a decision expected before Combs' sentencing.
