The explosion took place inside a coke oven at the facility, which is the largest coke manufacturing plant in North America. Emergency responders, including 15 ambulances, are on the scene conducting rescue operations for individuals trapped inside. Local health officials are monitoring air quality due to concerns about potential impacts from the incident. Authorities have urged residents to avoid the area while the situation is ongoing.
