Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians are fleeing south as Israel closes off northern access, and hospitals struggle to cope with the influx of casualties. Amid these developments, Hamas is meeting with officials from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey in Doha to review a 20-point US peace proposal, with a final response still pending.
