It's absolutely concerning to see particularly young entrepreneurs leave the country because these are the people creating the futures. Heading to North America, England and Singapore, seeking like-minded people and industry clusters. Not just from a tax point of view, things like other financial support, but also access to advisors, to employees, to the infrastructure that's needed. It's literally much easier in many other places to pursue those things. Key areas Australia is losing talent. The healthcare system, in the sports industry, in the use of data and data to improve decision-making, improve people's lives. The federal government has poured billions of dollars into creating tax incentives and pipelines of capital investment, mainly into the resources sector, but reducing red tape for small businesses as part of the national strategy is still underway. An AI plan will be released by the government before the end of the year in a bid to guide local tech start-ups.
