Fine expressed concerns about potential immigration fraud and questioned the legitimacy of Mamdani's path to citizenship, citing a study from Minneapolis regarding immigration fraud among Somali immigrants.

Fine further criticized Mamdani's political ideology and associations, particularly with activist Linda Sarsour, and described Mamdani as embodying ideologies he considers anti-American. He argued that such influences are problematic for American democracy and expressed concern about their impact on the Democratic Party in New York.

What is it that you would be looking for that would make his application moot and he'd be removed? Well, look, I think we have this problem. The barbarians are no longer outside the gate, they're inside. And you can see it in the results that you're talking about in New York, where people who aren't from here are the ones who are going to elect him. We need to go through every application from the last 30 years and say, did you lie? Did you dot your I's and cross your D's to become American? And we have good reason to do this. They just did a study in Minneapolis where all the Somalis went, where they looked at a thousand cases of supposed illegal immigrants, and they found 50% of them engage in immigration fraud. How many of these people who are about to elect Mamdani lied to become Americans? It's a great question. He's from Uganda, which is already very problematic. His ideology, as you can tell just from what his family believes, are terrifying. He also hangs out with some of the worst people. Linda Sarsour is one of the most vile Islamists in this country, and she is a very good friend of Zoran and a mentor of Zoran. She'll probably have a lot of power in this administration if he wins in eight days, which it looks like he will. That's Linda right there. These are the people. It's so un-American, it's terrifying. But in a place like New York, because we have all of this alleged diversity that's supposed to make us so much stronger, there's a whole coalition of these people, and they've captured the Democrat party in this city. And we're supposed to just accept that and say that that's the beauty of democracy? That's BS. Look, Mamdani is the worst of both worlds. He's not only a communist, he's a jihadist who stands and surrounds himself with those who believe in Muslim terror. I mean, he is one himself. Remember, he wouldn't say globalize the intifada as bad. He wouldn't say Hamas should put down their weapons. So he embodies the problem that we're facing in this country, where these two horrible anti-American ideologies, communism, which we spent decades fighting, and Muslim terror, which we spent the last several decades fighting, are coming together. Make no mistake, these people have not come here to add to our strength. They've come here to destroy what made America great. And for some reason, on the far left, especially among Democrat voting women, it's like the most dangerous possible option is the sexiest thing they could possibly choose. Let's pick Zoran Mamdani, the Islamist communist. Let's go that direction. It's terrifying. Randy Fine, Congressman, thanks so much. We appreciate it.
