The disruptions come as the Transportation Security Administration expects to screen over 44 million passengers at airport checkpoints between December 19th and January 4th. While Newark airport experienced significant delays and cancellations over the weekend, conditions are gradually improving, though some delays persist. Travelers are reminded to bring passports and Real IDs to expedite security checks.
