According to an analyst, these advancements in development techniques have made AI technology both cheaper and more effective. DeepSeek has successfully entered the competitive AI market, even overtaking ChatGPT as the most downloaded free app in the US. Nonetheless, the app has experienced several outages due to its rapidly growing popularity.
