The footage begins with Abdallah walking toward a hallway while Khalil is on the phone with his attorney. A government filing previously stated that, during this period, an agent asked Khalil to cooperate while verifying his identity. The filing says Khalil refused to cooperate and indicated that he intended to leave, which the agent interpreted as a flight risk warranting immediate arrest.

During the five-minute video, Khalil is seen handing his phone to an officer, who speaks into it briefly; this exchange happens twice. Khalil appears calm and at one point laughs with the officers. Toward the end of the footage, Abdallah is seen handing Khalil a card, identified by attorneys as his green card, which Khalil then gives to the federal agent. The video concludes at that point.
