The sanctions are designed to disrupt a network of front companies and individuals operating in the Middle East, including the UAE, that facilitate the movement of oil money to the Houthis.

These measures are intended to freeze assets and prevent financial resources from reaching the Houthis, as part of ongoing efforts to tighten sanctions related to Iran. The action reflects continued U.S. efforts to limit the group's access to funds derived from oil smuggling.

More sanctions now from the Treasury Department related to Iranian oil guys just within the past couple of moments. The Treasury is saying they are designating now 21 individuals and entities. They're also identifying one vessel that's transferred oil products. This is all related to the Iranian-backed group called the Houthis. The U.S. government here taking these steps to designate these individuals and entities. They say there's a network here of front companies and individuals throughout the Middle East. They're operating in the UAE and elsewhere. And all of those folks now designated by the Treasury Department to try to freeze assets and stop some of that oil money from moving to the Houthis to benefit them. Guys, back over to you. Okay.
