Temperatures across the country will keep us on our toes as we head closer toward Christmas. Parts of the Northern Plains, Great Lakes and Ohio Valley will see a series of cold shots of arctic air, bringing a temperature whiplash. Meanwhile, much of the southern tier of the country will see temperatures soar well-above average.
