Meteorologists report that a shift in weather patterns is anticipated as a trough develops, which could bring cooler conditions in the following week. Residents are advised to expect significant changes in the weather over the next seven days.

Here's a look at the overall plan. Today looks very comfortable. In fact, a little bit maybe too warm for you. Hard to get into the season when it's that warm, but it is what it is. Then we start to see the flow change. We kind of have this zonal flow over the southeast right now, but now we're gonna get it to definitely change as we head into this weekend with a big trough developing, and that's gonna allow some cooler weather to sink down, but it also is going to allow more of that warmer weather to surge up the I-35 corridor. So yet again, you will keep the warmth 10 to 20 degrees above average. This weekend does look very pleasant. If anybody's gonna be spending time out at the beach, looking fantastic weather-wise, the warmth will kind of be shifting into that direction. But again, expect some bigger changes as we head into the next seven plus days.
