We're looking at whether or not we can actually use those cameras to be able to give out tickets for speeding and irregular riding. It's good that the police are out on the water, finally taking this issue seriously because the community is fed up. Bayside community campaigner Heidi Lee Douglas estimates that over summer she receives a complaint every day. The jet ski riders repeatedly come into shore, they do tricks, they show off, they do high speed, they splash people. They are a menace on the water.
