When the Sydney sides face off, it's hard to look away. Not tongue-in-cheek, we don't like them, we don't like them, they don't like us. And with the 30th derby on the horizon, the weekend's loss to the Bulldogs was quickly in the rear-view mirror, at least for Darcy Jones. Literally as soon as we finished the game, I remember saying to a few of the boys on the bus, I just cannot wait to play against the Swans this week. The Swans have the wood over GWS, winning the last four match-ups. That's alright, we'll obviously focus on this game, and I think we're both obviously coming off slump form, so it'll be a good game, it'll be pretty physical as you can imagine. Even more so, considering the Giants want to make amends for their performance on Saturday. It's quite embarrassing to go out there and play the way we did, so we'll want to bounce back real quickly. We're a good group, we're pretty determined, and the boys were pretty filthy with how we played as well. Some criticism has been aimed at Jake Stringer, but the players have his back. Obviously it's going to take time, but 3-12, he's still having the scoring shots, he's going to kick goals, we're fine with the way he's playing, he's going to have his opportunities and he's going to kick them. So it might take a little bit longer than we wanted to, but no, we back him. It's just so hard to stop, so as soon as he starts kicking those goals, it'll make life so much easier for our team, and he will kick those goals eventually.
