The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame held its annual induction ceremony, featuring performances from new inductees such as Cyndi Lauper and Salt-N-Pepa. The event included tributes to late musicians, including Sly Stone and Chris Cornell, and saw appearances by artists like Stevie Wonder and Jim Carrey.

Other notable inductees included Bad Company, Warren Zevon, Carole Kaye, Tom Bell, Lenny Warrenker, Nikki Hopkins, Chubby Checker, and OutKast. The ceremony concluded with Bryan Adams leading an ensemble performance in honor of Joe Cocker, highlighting the generational influence of rock and roll.

Some big, big acts were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame over the weekend in a star-studded ceremony. The show included performances from inductees like Cyndi Lauper and Salt-N-Pepa along with other rock tributes. Stevie Wonder kicked off this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony with a tribute to the late 1993 inductee, Sly Stone. But Salt-N-Pepa looked to the future. The inductees addressed their ongoing battle with their record label. We're in a fight right now for our masters that rightfully belong to us. Later in the show, the hip-hop pioneers joined fellow honoree Cyndi Lauper. Soundgarden was inducted by actor Jim Carrey with an emotional tribute to the late lead singer Chris Cornell. When you looked into his eyes, it was like eternity was staring back. Also inducted, Bad Company, Warren Zevon, Carole Kaye, Tom Bell, Lenny Warrenker, Nikki Hopkins, and Twisting Trend Center Chubby Checker. OutKast was also inducted. It's a lot more than just the notes or the instruments that you're playing. It's everybody that's around you. But the Atlanta rap duo didn't perform together. They had another missed reunion, The White Stripes. But 21 Pilots brought the energy performing the Detroit duo Seven Nation Army. And to cap it all off, Bryan Adams led a star-studded ensemble performance in honor of inductee the late Joe Cocker. It was an incredible night, and I just loved the tributes.
