Casablanca Airport has been a hub throughout the tournament, with fans arriving from across Africa and beyond. The terminals carry the spirit of the tournament, creating an immersive welcome for everyone arriving. From arrivals to check-ins, Afghan energy fills the airport, with staff part of everyday moment. Even stepping off the plane or through the airport, you feel part of something bigger. Then the journey continues on Morocco's high-speed trains, connecting cities and fans. The stations are full of energy and you can feel the excitement everywhere. Morocco's story was alive throughout the tournament, with Rabat right at the center of it. Including historic sites that connected the past with the energy of Afghan. The Udayas are one of Rabat's oldest quarters, a historic fortress above the Atlantic. Its walls have stood for centuries, watching the city around them. Step through the gates and the pace slows. Inside, walkways and gardens offer a calm, quieter side of Rabat after weeks of football. Afghan didn't just leave memories. It's also left something tangible behind. In Casablanca, football's impact reaches beyond the stadium. A local playground was transformed into a place where young players can train, play and dream. A small change with a lasting effect. I saw the passion that the kids had for football, and at the same time the lack of possibilities. Most of them were dropping out of school. You have to see this place before it was renovated, to see the state, the condition of this playground. They helped us even throwing the trash away. We want to do something for kids, we want to do something for us too. And the final project is to find a big project to help kids to find another way in the sports business. From the streets to the community, it all ends here. The biggest night of the tournament. Morocco, Senegal, one final chapter. Senegal has won the African Cup of Nations in a dramatic fashion. Pap Gueye scored an extra time for the Taranga Lions to beat host Morocco 1-0 in a chaotic final. A Panenka miss by Ibrahim Abdelkader Diaz gave the Tarangas another boost in the match. This was Senegal's fourth appearance in the Africa Cup final, and it is the second title for the Lions of Taranga in the last three African tournaments. I think the first half was like 60-40 for us. We dominated, we had our chances, but at the end of the day, we didn't score. Morocco has like one, two chances, they could have scored, but I think the second half was 50-50. At the beginning of the second half, you could see the Moroccan players trying to do their best, but I think the major breakdown of the second half is the penalty. That wasn't a penalty, it's unfortunate, but it is what it is. At the end of the day, he missed it, and we are happy for that. We granted an extra time, we scored that goal, and it couldn't end much better than that. What a journey this tournament has been. From the cities, to the fans, to the final that delivered.
