The footage captures the driver being pulled over, then fleeing and performing another burnout before being apprehended. Police allege the vehicle was significantly modified and have charged the driver with multiple offences, seizing the car as evidence.

The crackdown is part of a broader operation targeting hooning during the school holiday period. In a separate incident, a motorbike rider was charged after allegedly being caught speeding more than 40 kilometres over the limit on the Gateway Motorway. The rider lost his license for six months and received a fine of nearly $2,000.
