Tadej Pogacar has regained the yellow jersey in the Tour de France after a strong performance in the Pyrenees, overcoming a previous crash. The defending champion now leads the race by three and a half minutes.

The Tour de France intensified as the race entered the Pyrenees, with cyclists facing rapid descents and challenging climbs. Despite suffering a crash the previous day, Tadej Pogacar set a fast pace uphill and managed to reclaim the yellow jersey. 

Pogacar, who has now won 20 stages in the Tour, finished ahead of his main rival Jonas Vingegaard and established a lead of three and a half minutes. The achievement was witnessed by the French president, who was present to cheer on the competitors.

Usually the domain of skiers and snowboarders the Tour de France kicked up a notch as it entered the Pyrenees. The downhills were lightning fast and despite crashing yesterday Tadej Pogacar was setting a blinding pace uphill too. The big two arrive, Vingegaard can't survive for now. What crashed yesterday?
