Fresh off a 12-day conflict with Israel, its Foreign Minister Abbas Sarrachi is blaming Tel Aviv outright. The rabid Israeli regime knows no bounds. The world, including the region, must unite to end its unhinged aggression. Sarrachi has also condemned Israel, saying the airstrikes in Syria are part of a pattern. Israel has for quite some time been pursuing a de facto policy of destabilisation in the region. While doing so, it bases its actions solely on its own national security priorities, without regard for any rules, norms or the rights, sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries. As you know, this began in Gaza, then extended to the West Bank, followed by Lebanon, Iran and now Syria. The European Union is demanding Israel immediately cease its airstrikes, urging all actors to respect Syria's sovereignty. Meanwhile a clear call from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, demanding the restoration of calm and access to humanitarian aid.

The Senate approved a $9.4 billion rescissions request, sending it back to the House of Representatives for approval.
