A Las Vegas pedicab company is calling on city and county leaders to implement stricter rules for pedicab drivers, citing concerns about unregulated operators damaging the industry's reputation.

Pedicab operators in the Las Vegas Valley are calling for stronger and more consistent regulations from city and county authorities. According to Rick Barlow of Las Vegas Pedicabs, the current regulatory environment allows for a large number of unregulated operators, leading to issues that established companies are often blamed for. 

Barlow and others are advocating for a cap on the number of pedicabs, clearer identification requirements, and the expansion of permitted operating areas to accommodate new entertainment venues. County commissioners are expected to consider these proposals at an upcoming meeting.
