This time, access to the Orange Zone will be completely off-limits to supporters. No traffic will be allowed from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde, even the metro stations will be closed. This family of fans feels disappointed. We celebrated the World Cup on the most beautiful avenue in the world. It would have brought things full circle to celebrate here again. But officials don't want to take that risk. Just a few hours after the match, the traditional July 14 military parade will take place. 7,000 soldiers and firefighters are rehearsing with growing anticipation. I've waited years for this. I've taken part in Bastille Day before, but on the other side of the barriers. Standing on these cobblestones in uniform, it's truly impressive. The guest of honour this year? The Indonesian army. And authorities are expecting thousands to turn out and watch the parade.
